We are committed to being green in every aspect of our business.
OUR HISTORY
The company was born out of Julie’s love for color and wrapping presents and our concern for the environment. December of 2007, we decided not to end another holiday season with plastic bags filled with wrapping paper and ribbons. The research began and the company was born.
OUR PRODUCTS
Did you know that most wrapping paper is not recyclable? That’s because it contains additives, such as metal, to give the paper its sheen. Many popular gift wraps also have dyes that can damage the environment. And most gift wrap contains zero recycled content. The same is true of ribbon. Each winter holiday North America alone uses 38,000 miles of ribbon. That’s enough to go around the world and tie a bow!
Our wrapping paper is made from paper that is 100% recycled content, 100% post-consumer waste and processed chlorine free. We use vegetable-based inks that make it 100% recyclable. No more bags of holiday wrapping paper into the garbage and on to landfills!
And our custom dyed bows are 100% post-consumer content. They are made from recycled plastic bottles!
Our matching gift tags are also 100% recycled and recyclable paper. They are printed on green raw materials using a green powered factory.
Even our packaging is eco-friendly. Our packaging sleeves and bags are biodegradable plastic bags that degrade in a continuous process until they become part of the organic components of the soil. They will degrade in landfill, when composted, or buried in the ground. Our mailing boxes are 100% recycled corrugate and mailing labels use Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) paper and recyclable adhesive.
